A multibillion-dollar division of a private equity portfolio company was providing unclear and insufficient reporting documentation; newly installed management were having difficulty apprehending key operating metric.
Accordion was engaged to revamp daily and weekly operating metrics reporting process on a de novo basis.
During discovery process, Accordion team discovered numerous inaccuracies and inconsistencies in metric reporting and calculation, and issued recommendations to management to remedy structural problems. The Accordion team also determined that existing metric set was missing key elements required to offer a comprehensive picture of key business drivers.
The end product was an entirely revamped and recalculated 20-page set of KPIs, with a wholly rebuilt Accordion-designed business process to generate and distribute the analysis
After a successful trial period, Accordion shepherded a full process handoff to selected client-side stakeholders
The client was provided with an entirely new process and end product better suited to management and private equity parent’s needs, owned and operated by motivated client-side stakeholders. C-level management continues to utilize these Accordion-created tools on a daily basis.
