A high-growth professional services firm needed a more streamlined, automated way to understand gaps in supply (resourcing and hiring) and demand (active projects and estimated pipeline) in order to best plan and analyze business performance. The Execution
- Worked closely with the Company’s FP&A, IT, and leadership teams to develop a comprehensive supply and demand planning solution in Anaplan that automated an existing manual and error prone Excel modeling process.
- Deployed and rolled out a solution leveraged by the entire consulting team (300+) – accounting for time entry input, resource modeling, skill search/management, existing project assignments, and future pipeline analytics.
- Implemented an automated connection to NetSuite, in order to provide a real-time view of any gaps in the weekly plan.
The Results
With Accordion’s help, the Company was able to deploy a more collaborative and intelligent supply and demand model that both saved time in the weekly forecast cycle and provided more automated and actionable business planning.
