George is a Managing Director with more than 20 years of M&A and operational performance improvement experience in industry and consulting. Throughout his career, he has led complex M&A transactions and operational restructuring and turnaround efforts across a variety of industries, both as an advisor as well as an executive.
At Accordion, George supports clients throughout the deal lifecycle, from deal strategy and operational diligence, to Day 1 planning and readiness, through post-close stabilization and transformation execution.
Before joining Accordion, George spent over a decade with Big 4 and leading middle market / private equity consulting firms, leading and supporting various marquee global deals across industries, mainly focusing on integration and separation assessment, synergy diligence, operating model design, sign to close planning and readiness, and post-close execution oversight.
Prior to becoming an advisor, George acquired hands-on merger integration, performance improvement, and operational turnaround experience as a manager and an executive for leading multinational manufacturing, industrial, and technical services companies over an 11-year career.
George has lived and worked many years in Europe, and his deals have taken him across North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
George has an M.B.A. from Cornell University’s Johnson School and an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (Greece).
